Delhi, Agra, and Rajasthan together form the heart of North India’s cultural circuit. The region experiences distinct seasons, each offering a unique travel experience.

  • October to March is the ideal time to visit Delhi, Agra, and Rajasthan. Expect pleasant days perfect for exploring the Taj Mahal at sunrise, wandering through Jaipur’s palaces, or strolling Delhi’s bustling streets. Do note that December and January can bring chilly mornings, cool evenings, and occasional fog, especially in Delhi and Agra, so light winter wear is recommended.

     

  • Summer (April to June) brings high temperatures across the region. Early April offers fewer crowds and better value, but by May and June, heat peaks in Rajasthan and the plains of Delhi and Agra, making sightseeing less comfortable. Desert areas like Jaisalmer and the Thar become particularly hot.

     

  • Monsoon season (July to September) brings relief from the heat, with lighter rains in Delhi and Agra and a touch of greenery in Rajasthan. While not peak season, this time offers a different charm with fewer tourists and dramatic skies over forts and palaces
